Be a Great Scene Partner
Be less blocky and a more generous, supportive scene partner.
Follow the Fun
Worry less about plot and pay closer attention to and learn to heighten the small, accidental, or unusual.
-
You already have some foundational improv experience. Ideally, you’ve taken classes and performed on stage. If you're unsure, please just get in touch.
-
Wear comfortable clothes you can move around in easily.
Bring a water bottle (there is also tap water available at the venue).
Bring a notebook to make notes as you learn.

Each class begins with an explanation of what to expect in the session, and every exercise will have clear instructions before we begin.
We prioritise your comfort: We will always take a 10-minute break in the middle of each session. You are welcome to step out of the room at any point.
No pressure: There is no pressure to move fast or make physical contact. You can free to sit out of an exercise if you just want to watch.
Adaptive learning: If you have any specific learning or communication needs, please just let Janey know and she will adapt the exercises as best as possible.
-
You could miss one, however it’s best to wait for the next class if you have to miss more than one.
